Evergreen Organics complies with the State of Qatar’s Law No. 8 of 2008 on Consumer Protection.
The law states that the basic rights of a consumer shall be guaranteed under the provisions of this Law. No person may conclude any agreement or conduct any activity that prejudices such right, in particular the following:
- The right to safety and protection from commodities or services that are unsafe, or whose might cause injuries to others;
- The right to obtain correct data information about commodities and services;
- The right to choose commodities that meet conditions of quality and conform to specifications;
- The right to respect, religious values, customs and traditions;
- The right to obtain knowledge related to the protection of the customer’s legitimate rights and interests;
- The right to participate in association, private institutions, councils and committees whose activities are related to consumer protection; and
- The right to file lawsuits concerning anything that may violate, harm or restrict the consumer’s rights.
The law currently states that under these pieces of legislation, a consumer has the right to goods that are deemed to be of a satisfactory quality, for purpose and ‘as described’. We feel very confident in the products that we chosen to offer you. When purchasing form Evergreen Organics, due to the nature of our products, you are not automatically entitled to a refund because you simple change your mind.
We understand that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach and therefore we handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making our customers happy. We stand behind our goods and services and want customers to be satisfied with them. If we choose to provide a refund and no record of sale is available, we will ask for personal identification for our internal auditing procedure. This gives us the ability to monitor and investigate refunds and returns without a record of sale.
Where one of our products is found to be defective of does not conform to the prescribed standard specifications we shall recall the product and provide the consumer with a refund or exchange or repair the defect free of charge.
Generally speaking, for hygiene reasons, we regret that we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on goods that have been opened or used.

All Evergreen Organics products on display clearly indicate on the packaging or the container the type, nature, ingredients and other information relating to the commodity in the manner specified. Where the use of the commodity involves a certain risk, the consumer shall be clearly warned against such risk.
All of our products of our products on display are clearly labelled with the price- this is normally located next to the product in question on a separate label.
Upon purchasing consumers are entitled to obtain a dated invoice reflecting the commodity’s type, price, quantity and any other information specified. We do however limit the printing of invoices inline with our policy on sustainability, and would ask if this could be sent via email initially. If you do not have an email, we will do our best to provide you with a written receipt in store.
Evergreen Organics complies with the law that explicitly compels the return of products: if the customer finds that the product is defective or fails to meet the value or purpose of its intended use; or, the non-conformity of a product with standard specifications; or when the item fails to meet the purpose for which it was bought.
Customers are entitled to request a partial or full refund:
First; if Evergreen Organics advertises that it is selling a product at the lowest market price and the consumer finds that the same product is being sold at a lower price at another shop. In this case, Evergreen Organics will compensate the consumer for the price difference. Second; if Evergreen Organics commits a violation such as selling expired products. In this case, the consumer is entitled to exchange the defective product or request a full refund. Third; if the consumer buys a product that doesn’t comply with the terms of his agreement with the branch. In this case, the consumer is entitled to exchange the product. If the product cannot be exchanged, Evergreen Organics will refund the consumer.
